Now, South America's favorite bird of a cartoon character will be offered not only in Spanish, but English, too. Every editor should know that there are 43 million Hispanics in the USA and it is the fastest growing minority. Newspapers in the past have tried to appeal to their growing Hispanic market by putting out Spanish language sections, or adding content in Spanish. Now there is an opportunity to add a piece of content in English that most Hispanics are already familiar with.

The Condorito magazine is the 8th largest monthly magazine in Spanish speaking Latin America. Most Hispanics say they learned to read, at least in part, by reading the magazine with their parents. The Spanish speaking Condorito comic strip is in just over 100 newspapers, in both North and South America. There is no doubt Condorito is the best known and most loved comic character in Latin America. Through its international division, Condorito has been successfully placed in many Latin American newspapers. Now, the chance to expand to English-speaking markets is here.
