He'll do just about anything to avoid water in any form, but he's everybody's pal. As Jimmy Five's best friend, he gets talked into helping him with his 'infallible plans' but invariably lets the cat out of the bag.

A sweet little cherub, the ethereal friend and guardian of everyone in Monica's Gang and always ready to help anyone in trouble.

This ragged king of the underworld (the sewer system) is a thoroughly exasperating character who delights in messing up the world around him.

A sweet little fellow whose happy disposition matches his bright looks and blonde curls.

This bright little girl with the long wavy hair is the artist of the gang. Her artistic talent and charisma make her everyone's favorite.

Nimbus' brother, who always disagrees because he wants to do everything his way.

Jimmy Five's bright, girlish little baby sister. Modeled after Mauricio's oldest daughter, Mariangela.
Dorinha — Doreen — Dorita — Dorina
Doreen can't see! She has a dog called Radar. He helps her to cross the street, and deviate from obstacles. But Doreen said to her friend Monica: &mda I don't see things the way you do! but I can feel... smell... listen... and above all, I can use my imagination to picture the things my eyes are unable to see! Doreen is cute, smart and all the Gang loves her.

One of the gang, everyone's friend, but he doesn't talk — or can't. No one knows for sure which. He just murmurs hmm-hmm.
Bidu — Blu — Bidú — Blu
Charming and smart, Franklin's dog often stars in his own stories, defending his center-stage position or playing the philosopher who converses with inanimate objects in his world.
Duque — Duke — Duque — Ducane
Blu's faithful friend. He listens, givesadvice and is there in both good and bad moments.

Smudge's pet pig and good-natured companion.

This energetic canine is the "do-it-all" in Blu's stories. Because he manages to put all of the confusion into some sort of order, Blu calls him his guardian angel, but Manfred thinks an angel shouldn't suffer so much.

Completely off his rocker, this harmless, comical grown-up jabbers a lot of nonsense that creates wacky situations.
Cebolinha — Jimmy Five — Cebollita — Cipollino
Special because of his five spikes of hair and trouble pronouncing his r's, Jimmy Five loves sports, music and the outdoors, but his biggest efforts go into cooking up 'infallible plans' to take over from Monica, with Smudge as his accomplice.
Magali — Maggy — Magali — Magali
Monica's very best friend, sweet and girlish, has one big weakness: food. Withan uncontrollable appetite, especially for such goodies as watermelon, pizza, ice cream and cake, she even named her cat Vanilla!
Franjinha — Franklin — Franjito — Frangetta
The brainy one of the group, this budding young scientist and inventor concocts all sorts of things in his home laboratory, not always with success. Blu is his pet.
Titi — Bucky — Tití — Tito
A little older than the others, Bucky has a problem because he's too young for somethings and too old for others.
Jeremias — Jeremiah — Jeremías — Geremia
Wearing his ever-present cap, Jeremiah plays with the gang, gets into fights and sometimes has to run from Monica like all the other boys in the neighborhood.
Nimbus — Nimbus — Nimbus — Nimbus
New in the gang, Nimbus is fascinated with everything about the weather: climate, clouds, storms, wind and rain. And the girls think he's really cool.
Dudu — Junior — Dudu — Dudu
Being picky about food makes Junior a perfect pal for Maggy, who is more than happy to clean his plate for him!
Luca — Luca — Luca — Lucca
Luca is a boy in a wheelchair, who loves sports. Basketball is Luca's favorite but there are other stuff he likes to do! swimming, table tennis, chess… Luca will be a constant presence in Monica's Gang adventures. His nickname is "tha wheel"!
Cascuda — Dustine — Polvosa — Polverosa
Smudge's cute little girlfriend. Her aversion to water makes them birds of a feather, made for each other.
Zé Luiz — Specs — Luís Lupa — Occhialone
The oldest of the gang, he's interested in serious things like reading.
Bugu — Glu — Bugu — Glu
A roly-poly little yellow pup who insists on giving Blu a hard time. He invents all sorts of ways to steal the spotlight but Blu always puts him in his place.
Floquinho — Fluff — Floquito — Batuffolo
Jimmy Five's dog is so totally true to his name that no one can tell his head from his tail.
Monicão — Ditto — Monicán — Pizello
This little pup is short and pudgy and has buckteeth just like his owner, Monica. Monica and Ditto get along beautifully and always stick up for each other.
Sansão — Samson — Sansón — Sansone
Monica's constant companion, this blue plush bunny with the long floppy ears is also an always-handy weapon Monica uses to bash the boys when they tease her.
Mingqu — Vanilla — Vainilla — Vaniglia
Maggy's pure white angora kitten is sweet and adorable, like his owner, but with out her colossal appetite. Everyone loves Vanilla—except Maggy's dad, who's allergic to cat fur!
