Winslow (A coyote cub)
Winslow is an innocent awash in the flood of popular mores. He is susceptible to every fad that comes along. It's part of his charm and the root of much of his best friend's Carmen's frustrations with him. His one certainty is his friendship with Carmen, his bosom pal.

Carmen (A human cub)
Carmen is much more grounded and very sure of what she is. She is an innocent who loves being a child. She fights tooth and nail against a society that wants her and her friends to grow up much too fast. She is a rock, certain of her place on the moral high ground. She is passionately dedicated to common sense, the promise of America and her best friend, Winslow.
