Cartoonist Rall Becomes Crossword Puzzle Clue

One of the clues in Friday's New York Times crossword puzzle was "Editorial cartoonist Rall." The answer, of course, was "Ted."

Rall, who's syndicated by Universal Press Syndicate, said on his blog Saturday that appearing in the crossword "is kind of amazing to this boy from the Ohio 'burbs. On the other hand, it is a pretty damned hard puzzle."

The Times puzzles, edited by Will Shortz, are distributed by the New York Times Syndicate.
